Grace and peace.
Many of you may be familiar with the “M” sign that so many celebrities, religious leaders, politicians, and others have been photographed making with their middle two fingers. We detailed this handsign in our post, Occultism and the Christian Church.
As you may know, some have guessed that this “M” stands for Masonry. Â But I have never been convinced of this; and so I continued to ponder the significance of this sign.
Then today I happened upon a website, which provides information on and solicits support for, the “Triumphal Arch” of Mary that is being planned to be built in Buffalo, N.Y. Â The website featured the logo of the organization that is planning the building of the arch. Â The logo is below.
As you can see, the logo features an arch in the shape of a stylized “M” for Mary, above which is a crown.
That’s when I realized that the “M” hand sign could very well stand for Mary, not Masonry. Â The fact that many, though certainly not all, of the people seen making this sign were and are Roman Catholics, and many of the statues and paintings featuring people making this sign have Roman Catholic themes, makes a convincing argument that the “M” actually stands for Mary.
Just food for thought, folks.
