Grace and peace Saints.
We are still keeping with the theme of fear this week, because things are going on in the world that will instill fear. Â But we ain’t having none of it. Â Â
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He might exalt you in due time:
“Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you” (1 Peter 5:6-7).
Most of us are familiar with verse seven, but verse six is important also. Â We must humble ourselves before God, and He will exalt us. Â He will take care of us, for He is able. When we encounter problems in our lives, our first instinct is to come at those problems in our own strength. Â But God wants us to humble ourselves and come to Him. Â Then we can come at those problems in HIS strength. Â And the Lord our God is strong and mighty. The Lord our God is mighty in battle. Â Let Him fight our battles.
Jesus never gets tired of us coming to Him with our problems. Â So cast all your cares upon Him. Â For He careth for you.
Be encouraged and look up, for your redemption draweth nigh.
