The Gospel Light and Truth Crusade is my personal mission to reform the Reformation by exhorting Bible-believing Christians to adhere to the Bible as their sole rule and guide and to reject the man-made traditions and exalted claims of the Roman Catholic Church.
The name is loosely based on an organization founded by Protestant evangelist and author, Monica Farrell. A converted Roman Catholic, Ms. Farrell well understood the spiritual darkness in which Roman Catholics live, and the false doctrines and man-made traditions of Rome that corrupt the simple faith in Jesus, and keep the Roman Catholic imprisoned in fear and ignorance. Her burden for lost Roman Catholics in her hometown of Dublin, Ireland led her and like-minded Protestants to found The Light and Truth Gospel Crusade, a “mission for the conversion of Roman Catholics and the awakening of Protestants.â€
I read two books written by Ms. Farrell that greatly affected my understanding of the world and changed the direction and purpose of my ministry. The first was Ravening Wolves, a book about the work of Roman Catholic Action in Yugoslavia, and their bloody campaign to exterminate the Orthodox Serb population in the Independent State of Croatia. This book revealed a side of the Roman Catholic institution that is more sinister and far bloodier than that which is commonly found in history books and portrayed in the media. The second was From Rome to Christ, the personal testimony of Monica Farrell, which revealed the extent to which the Roman Catholic has been deceived by “another Jesus, another spirit, and another gospel.†From Rome to Christ helped me to understand the deep spiritual depravity, fear, lack of joy, and sense of hopelessness that characterize the life of the average Roman Catholic. These books gave me a burden to do my part to bring Roman Catholics to a knowledge of the truth.
I was already aware of the true nature of Rome from the testimonies of former Jesuit priest, Dr. Alberto Rivera, as told in the Chick Crusader series of comic tracts; and former Roman Catholic priest, Charles Chiniquy, author of the book, Fifty Years in the Church of Rome. I also had personal experience with the tactics of the romish church, having been persecuted by them both in the United States and in Europe in response to my efforts to evangelize Roman Catholics and Muslims. The information provided by Ms. Farrell deepened my understanding of the determination of the Roman Catholic church to destroy the Protestant Reformation and all Protestants.
My research revealed that the moral decay of the United States through the Hollywood motion picture and entertainment industry, the media, and the educational establishment as well as the undermining of the United States Constitution, was deliberately caused by the Roman Catholic church, and is part of its plan to take over the government of the United States and supplant it with a government completely run by Roman Catholics for Roman Catholics. In this “occult theocracy,†the worship of the Lord Jesus Christ will be outlawed by penalty of death, as the United States and the world will be forced to worship the Antichrist and his idol, the Roman Catholic Virgin Mary. This will be a fulfillment of prophecy.
The resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, followed by the election of the Jesuit Pope Francis, are the fulfillment of Revelation Chapter 13 concerning the Antichrist and the False Prophet, which are Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis, respectively. I am doing my part to warn the Body of Christ of the impending danger of the new Roman Catholic Inquisition.
Lastly, as the Lord Jesus said that in the last days, deception would be so pervasive that if it were possible, it would fool the elect of God, we rightly divide the Word of Truth, the King James Bible, exposing false doctrines by comparing spiritual things with spiritual things and revealing those teachings that do not line up with Scripture.
What can you tell me about your Church or place of worship? Do you believe in “complete immersion” as it pertains to the Gospel? I’m curious as to what you truly believe and that is according to scripture.
I don’t have a church home at this time, Phyllis. Regarding “complete immersion,” if you mean a full-body baptism, I do believe in this, for reasons I outline in this post on baptism.
